SAFEGUARDING

Love Dance Studio have a duty of care to provide a safe environment for and to promote the health and well-being of children under the age of 18 years. Love Dance Studio will take all reasonable steps to ensure that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is embedded throughout their training and any activities.

Every teacher who is associated with Love Dance Studio will hold an Enhanced DBS, Licences, Insurance and all relevant training.

Parents/Guardians are NOT permitted in the studio to watch classes.

This has proven to be a distraction for the student's and the teacher.

Many student's are not comfortable with other parents in the studio. Love Dance Studio student's have the right to privacy and their welfare is paramount.

Under the discretion of the teacher, Parents/Guardians may be invited into the class if needed, such as in best interests of their child.

Please do not enter the studio on any occasion during class (unless emergency), this can be very dangerous to the teacher and student if we are in the middle of performing advanced gymnastic/acrobatic skills.

This cannot and will not be influenced by parents/guardians and those who interfere will be asked to leave.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

For all students, parents and guardians at Love Dance Studio.

Love Dance Studio is to ensure all students experience is safe, positive, friendly and fun.

Under NO circumstances will any form of harassment, discrimination or bullying to any member of Love Dance Studio be tolerated. Love Dance Studio will take this matter very seriously and may result in dismissal.

Expectations in respect of students - All students are expected to behave in a respectful manner to all teachers and fellow students. Be compassionate towards one another, work as a team, remain kind and patient. Students are expected to respect the property of Love Dance Studio and of others. Students (parents/guardians of students under the age of 18 years) may be responsible to replace any damage caused.

Love Dance Studio run classes consecutively, For Love Dance Studio to maintain an efficient schedule, Students please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class, be prepared to start immediately when you are greeted at the studio door and leave the studio as soon as your class has finished to respect the following class needing to start.

Students please wear correct attire relevant to the class discipline. Students hair must be tied back in either a pony tail, braids or bun.

NO outdoor shoes are allowed in the studio.

Uniform/Merchandise - Love Dance Studio has created set uniforms for classes. If you wish to purchase uniform or merchandise please contact Love Dance Studio.

SAFETY AND WELLBEING (student under 18 years old)

The Parent/Guardian must always remain on site (or reachable distance) throughout the duration of the class and be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the Child whilst in the building.

Love Dance Studio is not responsible for Children outside of the studio (e.g. Child using the toilet during class, whilst Love Dance Studio is teaching class).
